Description

AAFV (American Association of Fish Veterinarians) will be holding their conference on Monday, September 30th in St. Louis held in conjunction with AAZV and ExoticsCon. Their scientific sessions along with their two wetlabs held on Sunday, September 29th, are being submitted to RACE for CE.

The Monday presentations will consist of 6.5 hours, with the Sunday labs consisting of 7 hours.

  • Lab 1 – 8:00am – 12:00pm Handling Sedation and Clinical Techniques for Fish – Dr. Jessie Sanders
  • Lab 2 – 1:00pm-5:00pm Invertebrates – Dr. Roxanne Smolowitz

Monday, September 30 - Presentations

  • Morning Sessions – 8:15am – 12:00pm
  • Afternoon Sessions – 1:00pm – 5:30pm

Sunday Evening Ice Breaker

Tuesday continental breakfast, Morning presentations (AAZV is having 3 aquatic mammal talks), AM break

This Program 1183-38707 is approved by the AAVSB RACE to offer a total of 10.0 CE Credits (10.0 max) being available to any one veterinarian and/or 10.00 Veterinary Technician CE Credits (10.00 max). This approval is valid in jurisdictions which recognize AAVSB RACE; however, participants are responsible for ascertaining each board’s CE requirements

The 2019 conference must be viewed and the test submitted by 10/30/21 to americanfishvets@gmail.com in order to receive a CE certificate.
